Ivo Statinski (born 1975) is a renowned mastering engineer and DJ whose career dates back to 1985. As a producer he has collaborated with both local and international artists, resulting in numerous CD and vinyl releases. As a DJ he has performed hundreds of times in theatres, pop venues and festivals across Europe, winning several music awards along the way. He has worked with DJs such as Babu, The Proov, BluRum13 and Jeru the Damaja, and has shared the stage with acts like Living Legends, Blackalicious, The Pharcyde and Lords Of The Underground. In 2005 he co‑founded “Waxflowers” with Jeroen Vroegindewij, a company that supplies high‑end studio equipment, rentals and PA/live‑sound services. His own firm, later renamed Statinski Mastering in 2015, specializes in mastering. Thanks to his extensive experience with analog and digital gear, he has mastered countless releases that have earned gold and platinum certifications, and he is Apple‑certified for the “Mastered For iTunes” program.
